  | Minuteman Wrestling Season Has Successful End The 2011-12 wrestling team capped off its season of individual accomplishments with three placers in the State District Tournament held at Livingston High School. At 106 pounds, freshman Brendon Seyfried majored E. Santiago of Newark Eastside, 11-3 in the semifinals, before losing in the finals to A. DeLorenzo of Nutely, 3-1.

   | Friday Night Frenzy Newark Academy’s boys and girls basketball programs hit a high on Friday night, February 24. In front of a charged up, standing-room-only crowd, the girls varsity, boys JV and boys varsity teams swept their games against Kent Place and MKA, respectively.
