Silver Lining
A medal for George Haglund '16 at Cadet World Fencing Championships in Bulgaria.
Helping Team USA ascend to the top of the podium, George Haglund ’16 earned silver at the Cadet World Fencing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
George brought home the silver medal for Cadet Men’s Foil. Team USA had its most successful championship to date, earning five medals overall.
“It was really great knowing that I had all of my teammates, my parents, everyone cheering me on and rooting for me. The support really helped me to push myself and go for the win,” George said.
