  • Upper School Academics

    • In 1991, NA was the first school in New Jersey authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Coursework prepares students for 27 different IB exams across all subject areas. NA students had a 98 percent diploma pass rate in 2023.
    • In May 2023:
      • 176 students completed a total of 486 IB examinations.
      • 163 students sat for a total of 190 Advanced Placement (AP) tests.
    • 59 members of the Class of 2024 are pursuing the full IB diploma.
    • Approximately 94 percent of the Class of 2024 is enrolled in at least one IB course.
    • Approximately 60 percent of students enroll in art classes beyond the 1-year graduation requirement.
