Please submit the Online Admission Form and application fee. Copies of the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school transcripts should requested from the applicant’s school(s) and be submitted to NA by the above deadline
Recommendations from three current teachers are required as part of the supplemental information for admission consideration. Recommendations are sent to Newark Academy directly from the recommending teachers through NA’s online admission portal. Recommendations by the prospective student’s current English and Math teachers are required. A third recommendation from a teacher of the prospective student’s choice is optional. If the prospective student has the same teacher for both English and Math, the teacher must complete one form for each subject. Newark Academy recommends that families wait until December to ask teachers about requesting recommendations so that they have the time to get to know your child.

Parents/Guardians of prospective students must arrange for a copy of the prospective student’s school transcripts to be sent to Newark Academy. Click here to obtain the Transcript Release Form.
Due: Scores must be submitted prior to January 25, 2021
All prospective students must take an entrance assessment test as part of the application process. The test must be administered during the academic year in which application is made. Newark Academy accepts either of two entrance assessment tests – the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). If you and your child choose to take the SSAT in lieu of the ISEE you are responsible for arranging the test scores to be sent to Newark Academy prior to January 25, 2021. There is no need for an applicant to take both of these tests. The ISEE and SSAT require a three-week advance registration, so please plan ahead. Both testing organizations assign a School Code to Newark Academy that you will be asked to include during registration. Those codes are as follows:
