Homecoming & Reunion: Saturday, October 19, 2019

We are looking forward to welcoming you back for Homecoming & Reunion on Saturday, October 19, 2019! Join fellow alumni, faculty and friends for a day of activities at NA. If your year ends in a 4 or a 9, this is your year! Below is the schedule of events for the day as well as Hotel Accomodations. Invitations will be mailed in late July.

  • Alumni of Color Breakfast, 10:00 AM

    This event will be led by Gardy Guiteau, NA Director of Equity and Inclusion. Join us for a morning of quality conversation, engagement and connection, as generations of alumni of color will have an opportunity to hear from the Director of Equity and Inclusion, to reflect on their own NA experiences and to discuss the future of diversity and inclusion at Newark Academy. All alumni are welcome to attend.

    Raise a glass and toast the achievements of some of NA’s most accomplished graduates and faculty.

    Dedicated alumnus, member of the Newark Academy Board of Trustees; President emeritus, Newark Academy Board of Governors; 1969 Class Ambassador; CEO of John Bess, LLC.

    Athletic Hall of Fame
    Martin A. King '59
    4-year letterman in basketball, baseball and football; All-City, basketball (sophomore year); All-State, basketball (junior year).

    Scott T. Redmond '09
    NA lacrosse and soccer captain; all-time goals and points leader in lacrosse; Kimber Conference player of the year, senior year; lacrosse at Middlebury College.

    Artistic Achievement Award
    P. Shilpa Mankikar '94
    Award-winning American filmmaker based in New York, Los Angeles and Mumbai.

    Distinguished Faculty Award
    Catherine Pursell
    Dedicated and beloved Newark Academy faculty member for 40 years.
  • Reunion Dinners, 7:30 PM

    Spend the evening at NA. Enjoy dinner, open bar, class photos and catching up with old friends.
