  • Dining on Campus


    How will students engage in lunch if they are on campus?

     
    This year SAGE Dining Services will be packaging all food in a grab and go style. Community members will eat lunch outdoors or while socially distanced in large spaces with plexiglass dividers.
     
    Families are encouraged to review the menu options and allergen information that are available on the Touch of SAGE mobile app or the Newark Academy SAGE Dining Community website.
     
  • Summer Session


    Is Newark Academy offering summer session programs?


    Newark Academy’s summer session is scheduled for June 29 through August 7, 2020. 

    Classes are offered remotely as well as on-campus sports experiences. We are providing a dynamic experience that will help prepare your child for a successful return to school in the fall.

  • College Admission Testing


    What is the role of test scores in different admissions contexts?


    College Board:
    New fall test schedule: Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 5 Registration for all SAT tests is now open for all students.

    ACT:
    Registration opens the last week of July for this expanded schedule: September 12, 13, 19; October 10, 27, 24, 25 and December 12.

  • Student Trips


    How is Newark Academy addressing student trips?


    The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended avoiding nonessential travel. As a result, all Newark Academy student trips, regardless of destination or purpose, through April 27, 2020 were canceled. This includes the Spring 2020 Immersion Experiences as well as any additional day and overnight trips. 
  • Addressing Discrimination and Bias


    How is Newark Academy addressing discrimination and bias related to COVID-19?


    Newark Academy urges all to remember that viruses know no national borders nor racial/ethnic segmentations and the emergence of Novel Coronavirus should not be a source of division anywhere, and most certainly not at Newark Academy.

    How is Newark Academy monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19?


    Newark Academy’s administrative team, led by Head of School Donald M. Austin, is monitoring the ongoing transmission of COVID-19 in the United States and abroad.
