Last year students continue Newark Academy’s Community Service efforts both in the hallways of NA and the surrounding communities.

- 12,388 hours served by the Upper School
- 4 boxes of Cotton Candy mix used at the first Newark Academy & Apostles house family picnic
- $279 raised for the Community Foundation of the US Virgin Islands for Hurricane Relief
- 1 Ethical Leadership Service Day for the 8th grade
- 15+ Hungry, Hungry Human teams of four willing to raise money for Covenant House NJ
- 70 dog and cat toys made for animals rescued from the 2017 Hurricanes
- 1 giant canvas mural stretched and hung in a local elementary school
- $200 raised for the Covenant House Newark
- 40 puzzles made by the 8th grade and during NA Serves for children in local hospitals
