NA Girls Tennis Defeats Gill St. Bernard’s in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Non-Public B Tournament Finals
The Newark Academy girls’ tennis team added a Sectional Title to their already impressive season.
The Minutemen defeated Gill St. Bernard’s 3-2 to win the NJSIAA North Jersey, Non-Public B Tournament Final in thrilling fashion. Julia Schwed ’21 won a singles match while doubles partners Joyce Wang ’20 and Veronica Zhang ’19 and Melanie Kramarchuk ’22 and Gianna Porcek ’20 also won. The girls are now 14-3.
