NA’s Director of Community Service to serve on Madison’s Board of Education

Director of Community Service Sarah Fischer has been elected to serve on the Board of Education in the Madison District of Morris County.

“I firmly believe that we have a responsibility to give back to our communities and saw serving on the Board of Education as the best way I could leverage my skills for my community,” Sarah said. “I believed there needed to be someone on the Board that worked with students of district age and since I have been an educator for more than 15 years working in the classroom, as an administrator, and as a manager of educational non-profits, I felt I could lend my experience as we consider how to close achievement gaps and serve all students.”

Sarah said she hopes to be a voice for those students who use special services.
