NA Wins ECT Prelim vs. MSD

Ivy Bethea and Sam Keller combined for 22 of NA's 30 first half points to help the Lady Minutemen take a commanding 30-11 halftime lead over Mt. St. Dominic Academy. MSD fought back in the second half, outscoring NA 34-22, but Newark held on for the Essex County Prelim win. Bethea had her 7th double-double, finishing with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Keller finished with a team high 22 points, with 6 steals. Nora Gaby-Biegel had 6 assists with 7 steals, Kyra Cooperman had 8 points with 5 rebounds, And Sofia Miller pulled down 6 caroms. The Lady Minutemen never trailed, and MSD came within 5 with less than a minute to play, but NA held on.
