Red over Big Blue

The Newark Tennis lads concluded their opening week on a high note by defeating a very talented squad from Pingry, 4-1. Jasper & Vyom got Newark on the board first and were quickly followed by Eddie & Val. This gave NA an early 2-0 lead. Captain Ethan & Nick earned the clinching point, and were soon followed by Josh & Jean-Luc who toughed out an 8-0 win (seriously, it was great tennis, despite the score). Also fending off the Big Blue were Vincent & Ani and Simon & Jason.  

Their homestand continues on Monday when they face state athletic powerhouse, Delbarton.
