Newark Academy Struggles to Find Groove Against Livingston
Newark Academy had trouble keeping up with Livingston in a 14-1 loss on Monday.

In the bottom of the first inning, Newark Academy tied things up at one. Emma Simon grounded out, scoring one run.
Livingston pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Diianni singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Robinson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Reuter singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Wilson singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
Lily Rosenberg led things off in the pitcher's circle for Newark Academy. She allowed 15 hits and 14 runs over five innings, striking out one.
Livingston racked up 15 hits on the day. Reuter, Wilson, Diianni, and Robinson all managed multiple hits for Livingston. Reuter went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Livingston in hits.
