Newark Academy Girls Who Code Chapter Approved

Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization aiming to support and increase the number of women in computer science and provides a unique computer science curriculum, coding activities and more, has approved a Newark Academy Girls Who Code Club. The organization, which is working to close the gender employment difference in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks, will have an NA Girls Who Code Chapter starting in the 2019-20 school year. Girls Who Code was founded by NA’s 2019 Commencement speaker Reshma Saujani.
