MS Softball Finishes Undefeated!
#MSsoftball finished the season undefeated with a solid win over Morristown Beard yesterday. NA started the game off strong. Eleni got on base with a walk, then advanced stealing second and third. Shayne got a hit, and stole second. Julia S. went 4-4 on the day and got her 4th HR of the year with 2 RBI's to start us off. A great defensive effort and a super Eleni-Shayne double-play kept MBS off the scoreboard to end the inning.
Smart base running brought Alexa and Gabbi both home on steals, and Julia S. out of a pickle! Eleni pitched innings 1 through 3, and the 7th with 7 strikeouts, Shayne pitched innings 4 through 6 with 6 strikeouts.
Great effort by all of these ladies this season. Best of luck to our 8th graders. We can't wait to see them on the varsity diamond next year!!
