Alex Kotzen ’19 Wins Singles, Aaron Ramos ’19 and Drew Flanagan ’19 Win Doubles NJSIAA State Titles
Newark Academy has the best singles and doubles boys’ team in the state. Alex Kotzen ’19 won the NJSIAA singles state title while Aaron Ramos ’19 and Drew Flanagan ’19 won the doubles state title on June 6 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ. It’s the first time in school history that the Minutemen won the singles and doubles TOC in the same season. It is the fourth singles and fifth doubles state title for the storied tennis program.
