Pair of Newark Academy Musicians Make All-State Band and Orchestra

Both Ruthie Gu ’21 and Leah Shiff ’20 auditioned for and were accepted to the New Jersey All-State Bands and Orchestra. Ruthie will play principal oboe in the Symphonic Band, performing at Atlantic City and NJPAC in February, and Leah will play French Horn in the All-State Orchestra in Atlantic City and at NJPAC in November.
