Newark Academy Has Second Annual Theater Immersion Day
Thirty-seven Newark Academy theatre students traveled to New York City on Sunday for the Second Annual Theater Immersion Day. Students met with talent agent Ashley Landay and casting director Victor Vasquez, CSA. They were treated to a performance and workshop featuring Chase Clark and Olu Somorin, who wowed with a performance of August Wilson’s "Fences." The day on Broadway ended with a matinee of "Grand Horizons" at the Helen Hayes, produced by Second Stage and a talkback with cast member Matthew Scott.
