NA Falls In Double OT Effort
In a back and forth game that went to double OT, Nutley prevailed. The Lady Minutemen trailed by 2 at the half, but came out and outscored the raiders 15-11 in the third quarter to take a two point lead into the fourth. Back and forth that quarter, we are now tied at regulation and Nutley runs the clock out to force the first over time period.
Both Kyra Hermans and Zoe Hermans each hit a three in the first extra period, but Nutley also comes up with 4 free throws and a basket to keep it in check.
Kyra Hermans nets 5 points in the second OT, and sister Zoe has a three, but the Raiders finish ahead.
Kate Fishbone led all scorers with a career high 30 points (20 in the second half), with 6 rebounds.
Nora Gaby-Biegel had a career high 14 assists, with 4 steals, and 2 blocks.
