Newark Academy Model UN Returns with Two Awards

Anat Gupta ’21 and Virkim Bala ’20, Newark Academy Upper School students received awards during the John Hopkins University Model United Nations Conference (JHUMNC) in Baltimore. Anat was named “Best Delegate” for his work representing Canada in the International Monetary Fund. Vikrim, the co-president of NA’s Model UN, was named an “Outstanding Delegate.” This year the focused on the Yom Kippur war of 1973. The four countries involved were Egypt, Syria, Israel, and the United States of America.
