Non-Public B 1st Round Game
NA traveled to Morris Catholic for the first round of the Non-Public B State Tournament. Rakhi Parikh scores the first bucket of the game, but it became a rough first quarter defensively for the Lady Minutemen, and we found ourselves behind 25-15, which we never really could overcome. Down 16 at the half, we could have given up, but a valiant effort by all put #NAGB within eight at one point. NAGB wins the second half 22-21.
Kate Fishbone had a team high 16 points, with 8 rebounds. Zoe Hermans chipped in with 13 points and 4 assists. Nora Gaby-Biegel had 7 points, with 6 rebounds, 4 assiists, and 3 steals, and Kiki Afolabi led the team in rebounds with 9.
It's always hard to end the season with a loss, but the efforts. work ethic, and resilience of these girls is something to be commended! The #SuperSeven and #Stats are truly amazing! A big #ShoutOut to our boys practice squad that helped out this season! #ItTakesAVillage #Thanks
