Newark Academy Holds 247th Convocation
On September 16, 2020, Newark Academy came together virtually, while on the NA campus, in a celebration of the 247th Convocation. The annual ceremony brought together NA students, faculty, administrators and staff to commemorate the start of a new academic year and recognize long serving faculty. The time-honored tradition was live-streamed through NA YouTube channel.

Due to COVID-19, the event was held virtually, with students watching the YouTube live stream. Head of School Donald M. Austin addressed the students, as did student council president Mikey Marcus ’21. Dean of Faculty Traci L. Osterhagen Brock recognized the faculty longevity milestones.
