Students Explore Engaging Topics through Master Classes

In a week of experiential learning and engaging workshops, Newark Academy Upper School students in Grades 9 through 11 participated in Master Classes during the week of June 7, 2021.

Newark Academy Master Classes provide opportunities for students to explore engaging topics through short, self-contained, activity-focused workshops that feature NA's "Six Cs" of skill development in action (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, character, cultural competency).

Forensics, Environmental Sculpture, Textile Upcycling, Absurdist Shorts Stories, Guitar 101 and Mindfulness, Yoga and Guided Imagery were among the unique and diverse Master Class offerings.
