Five Students Named 2021 National Merit Scholarship Finalists

Five members of Newark Academy's Class of 2021 were named National Merit Scholarship Program finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Each year, more than 1.5 million high school students across the United States enter the National Merit Scholarship Program. This year includes NA’s Elaine Choy, Annika Inampudi, Eric Weng and Andrew Zabelo who advanced to the final round of the prestigious academic competition, representing less than one percent of high school seniors across the nation.

The National Merit Scholarship Programs recognizes those seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their high school careers and who performed exceptionally well on their SAT or ACT standardized tests.
