Middle School Winterfest and Parent Workshop
On Friday, February 3, the Newark Academy Middle School Council will host the Annual Winterfest, from 6:30-8:30pm in the Simon Fieldhouse and the Kirby Gym. While students are enjoying the Winterfest, Middle School parents have an opportunity to socialize and enjoy a light buffet dinner, followed by a workshop.
Winterfest includes dinner provides an opportunity for students across all three grades to builds strong social connections. There is no charge for students attending this event.
Abby Sarah Cooper will be speaking at the parent workshop on the topic of adolescent brain development and its impact on the lives of middle school students. Dinner is at 6:30pm, and Ms. Cooper will begin speaking at 7:00pm. The event will take place in Kaltenbacher Hall.
