NA Students Performed in the American Choral Directors Association National Honor Choirs

Congratulations to Christine Pan ’18, Jake McEvoy ’18, and Jessie Luo ’22 for performing in the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choirs on March 11 in Minneapolis.
Jessie performed with the Elementary Honors Choir and Jake and Christine performed with the High School Honor Choir.

The students worked with many of the biggest choral conductors and composers of today. They sang alongside the best and brightest peers, all of whom shared the same passion and dedication to choral music.

Christine, Jake and Jessie represented Newark Academy beautifully and we are so proud of them on this incredible accomplishment.

“Being part of the ACDA National Honor Choir has helped me grow, both musically and as an individual. Music has always played a huge part in my life and being able to sing with 300 kids my age, all from different parts of the country, was simply amazing.” reflected Christine. “I am so lucky to be part of Newark Academy, a place where its positive environment and blossoming music program has shaped me into who I am today.”
