NA’s New Middle School Set to Open

It has been one year since construction crews broke ground on the new Middle School facility and soon the doors will open to a new dynamic learning environment on the NA campus.
From the laying of the concrete foundation to erecting the steel framework to building the exterior brickwork and installing the windows, students, faculty and parents have witnessed the staggering daily changes that have taken place on campus this past year.

Inside, high ceilings and an abundance of windows create a light, open and inviting space for students and will enhance their learning experience. The collaborative environment is fueled by lecture-style seating and whiteboards in the classrooms. Students can connect with their peers in a multipurpose commons area and enjoy their traditional morning meeting in a larger, brighter space. Arts and music performances will reach new heights thanks to the theater seating, and new science labs will better prepare Middle School students for Upper School science classes.

Connected to the McGraw Arts Center, the nearly 22,000 square-foot, two-story structure is nearing completion and is projected to open in fall 2017. The project is supported by leadership gifts to the Rise & Flourish campaign.
