NA Law Club Held Mock Trial for Middle School

Each year, the culminating activity for Law Club is to hold a mock trial during the 6th-grade common period. This year's trial People v. Clevenger was focused on student search rights at a public school, referencing cases central to search rights such as Mapp v. Ohio and New Jersey vs. TLO.

This Mock Trial helped students understand the law, practice critical thinking, gain greater confidence with public speaking and learn the art of forming a persuasive, cohesive argument.
