Double Frosh Friday Blow Out, September 22

On September 22, from 3:00-5:00pm, 20-30 students will have the opportunity to earn two hours of community service. This involves completing trail maintenance on the Carol Heaney Nature Trail, located on the NA campus. Students should wear long pants and they will be raking, cutting, and doing general cleanup. A “Tailgate” Party begins at 5:00pm and runs until 7:00pm when the varsity football game begins. Students will meet at the concession facility for refreshments and there will be balls and Frisbees for pick-up games and other games, like corn hole, for more active students. There will also be an opportunity for students to just sit on blankets and hang out with the classmates. Athletes should feel free to join in as practices and games end. There is no charge for the tailgate, but a permission slip is required. Both the trail maintenance and the tailgate party will be chaperoned by NA faculty. There is no cost for either event, but a permission slip is required and due by September 19.
