Mi Casa Club Members Presented at Morning Meeting

Members of the Mi Casa Club gave an emotionally thoughtful presentation at the All-School Morning Meeting on October 4. Speaking in front of their peers and faculty, they shared their personal experiences dealing with the recent natural disasters that impacted Puerto Rico and Mexico. Many of the students have family and friends living in both areas and are learning first-hand about disaster relief and the importance of being active citizens in their communities – both near and far. In an effort to continue to raise awareness of disaster relief and support those affected in Puerto Rico and Mexico, Mi Casa Club is partnering with the Community Service Council in a Fundraising Friday event. On October 6, students can demonstrate their generosity of spirit on the first day of Spirit Week by donating to relief efforts at the table set up in the lobby in the morning.
