NA Announces New Girls’ Soccer Head Coach

The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Seraphine Hamilton is the new head coach of NA’s girls’ soccer program. Coach Hamilton, who joined the teaching faculty at Newark Academy this year, was an All-American soccer player at both the Peddie School and William Smith College. She has coached at the high school and collegiate levels and was the Director of Athletics at St. Andrews School in Delaware. “The search centered on finding a talented educator and a great coach with the technical knowledge, personal skills, professional experience and connections to best serve the needs of our athletes,” says Director of Athletics Ted Gilbreath. “Coach Hamilton is exceptionally qualified for this role and well prepared to steer the program from the pre-admission phase through the college admissions process. Additionally, she will serve as a strong, female role model for the young women on the team.”
