NA Gets The Win
The #LadyMinutemen took on Glasgow High School from Delaware in the 3 - 4 game of the William "Chickie" Ludman Memorial Bracket at the Boardwalk Basketball Classic in Wildwood.
Ivy Bethea scored 12 of her 19 points in the first quarter, and Sam Keller had 10 of her 17, to help spark Newark Academy to a 25-8 lead. NA continued to dominate and finished the half ahead 39-10.
Nora Gaby-Biegel had a team high 7 assists and 8 steals off the bench. NA forced 37 turnovers from Glasgow and had 19 bench points compared to their 0. Everyone on the team scored and had at least one rebound for the win. In the third quarter, the #BBClassic administration enforced a thirty point difference running clock rule, so NA played the last 9+ minutes without a stop on the whistle.
