4th Annual Relay Carnival!

The 4th Annual Minuteman Relay Carnival was another success! With the help of Kent Place School and Neptune Middle School, the three teams got together to have fun and raise awareness for water safety. Scott Weber, the aquatics director at West Essex YMCA, started the event speaking to all the children about their contributions last year to help make their 5 day free water safety week possible. Two new events were introduced this year, the 200 kickboard stacking relay as well as the 100 freestyle cap dropping relay. Both big highlights this year on top of the t-shirt relay. Coaches from all three teams participated in the Coaches vs. Swimmers and Coaches and Swimmers relays. Shoutout to all the swimmers for their great sportsmanship, positivity and overall energy for making it such a huge success. Donation money is starting to come in and so far NAMSS has raised over $450. We're looking to raise at least $2,500 this season to put our 4 year total at $10,000!
