NA Falls In ECT
The #LadyMinutemen played tough against Central HS in Essex county tournament action. Trailing by 2 after the first quarter, NA outscored Central 17-11 in the second to take a four point lead into the break. Leading by as many as six in the third, the score went back and forth. Nora Gaby-Biegel hits a buzzer beater to put NA up 42-37. The fourth quarter proved to be a little too physical, and the officials seemed to lose their whistles, NA fell to Central 55-49.
Maria Armas led the scoring with 14 points along with 7 rebounds and five assists. Ivy Bethea netted 12 points and six rebounds, and Gaby-Biegel had 11 points. Sam Keller finished with a game high nine assists with eight points.
