NA Model Congress Awarded at Penn Model Congress
Members of NA Model Congress spent part of their spring break at the PENN Model Congress and at this four-day governmental simulation, NA’s 15 delegates garnered 13 impressive awards under the leadership of Ms. McNeilly-Anta '93, Ms. Speck and Christopher Davis '12.
Awards included:
- John Barback ’18, Brahm Wieseneck ’18, Samarth Desu ’19 and David You ’19 gaveled in their respective committees.
- David You ’19 and Kennedy McNeilly-Anta ’20 were awarded for their debating skills in their Full Sessions.
- Alicia Mirchandani ’18 and Spencer Glassman ’19 were named Outstanding Team in the Supreme Court.
- Will Hayward ’18, Rahul Bendre ’19, Spencer Glassman ’19, Zach Kessel ’19 and Kennedy McNeilly-Anta ’20 earned Honorable Mentions in their Committees.
The delegation was also able to reconnect with four alumni who are currently serving on the PENN Model Congress Board: Jake Cohen ’14, Craig Haratz ’14, Jake Wieseneck ’14 and Jason Cohen ’16. Additionally, the delegate met up with Halle Abraham ’15, Rohan Bendre ’17, Peter Lu ’17, Shannon Peters ’17 and Joelle Gross ’17 who are studying at PENN.
