  • Sports Skills: Fundamentals - Grades 3-5

    Full Session Dates and Tuition: June 25 - August 3, $600
    Session A Dates and Tuition: June 25 - July 13, $300
    Session B Dates and Tuition: July 16 - August 3, $300
    Times:
    11:30 am-12:30 pm; 1:00-2:00 pm; 2:00-3:00 pm 

    This course will help students improve their basic sports skills. Students will learn and develop the fundamentals of both physical health and skill-related fitness concepts, such as agility, coordination, and balance, while also incorporating them into both gameplay and their everyday lives. As students rotate through one-week units on sports like volleyball, basketball, and soccer, the course will emphasize skills fundamentals, rules, gameplay, good sportsmanship, fitness, and, most importantly, fun! Classes will take place in the Wrightson Gym and Danco Fitness Center, as well as on the outdoor athletic fields. Students may enroll for the full six weeks or select a three-week enrollment. See weekly schedule below.

  • Sports Skills: Technique, Strategy and Gameplay - Grades 6-8

    Full Session Dates and Tuition: June 25 - August 3, $600
    Session A Dates and Tuition: June 25 - July 13, $300
    Session B Dates and Tuition: July 16 - August 3, $300
    Times:
    10:25-11:25 am; 1:00-2:00 pm

    This course will help students improve their sports skills, gameplay, and overall fitness level. Students will learn and develop their physical health and skill-related fitness concepts, such as agility, coordination, and balance, while also incorporating them into both gameplay and their everyday lives. As students rotate through one-week units on sports like softball, hockey, and tennis, the course will emphasize skills and techniques, strategy, gameplay, good sportsmanship, fitness, and most importantly, fun! Individualized instruction will be given to each student as they work toward their personal sport and fitness-related goals throughout the course. Classes will take place in the Wrightson Gym and Danco Fitness Center, as well as on the outdoor athletic fields.

  • Yoga Practice - Grades 3-8

    Full Session Dates and Tuition: June 25 - August 3, $600

    Times:
    10:25 - 11:25 am / Grades 3-5
    11:30 am - 12:30 pm / Grades 6-8

    This course will explore the physical and spiritual practice of Yoga and introduce loving-kindness, patience, resilience, healthy risk taking, and purposeful, directed breathing or “pranayama”.  Included, are elements of “Vinyasa” (flow) to build up stamina, as well as the learning of 75-plus specific poses.  The class will study and implement three breathing (“pranayama”) techniques and learn about the sages and myths connected to the poses. As all poses have varying levels of difficulty, this course is appropriate for students completely new to yoga, as well as those with significant prior experience.   

  • Martial Arts - Grades 6-8

    Session A Dates and Tuition: June 25 - July 13, $300
    Times:
    1:00-2:00 pm; 2:00-3:00 pm

    This three-week class will introduce beginner students to a variety of Martial Arts forms practiced around the world including Karate, Taekwondo, Traditional Shaolin Style, Krav Maga Self Defense, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Tai Chi Quan. Students will learn basic Kung Fu forms as well as defense techniques.  Students will also benefit from developing improved concentration, discipline, anti-bully defense strategies, and strengthening of the body.
