We are proud to offer a variety of Newark Academy Athletic Camps for Summer 2024. Students in Grades 4-9 will be guided by NA's seasoned athletic coaches and participate in a variety sports at our beautiful 68 acre campus, equipped with state-of-the art facilities. Athletic Camps include:

Boys' Basketball

Boys' Basketball Camp encourages helps players to improve on their fundamentals of the game while improving students' skill level. Players will receive instruction on all facets of the game: ball handling, shooting, rebounding, defensive techniques and passing. In addition, there will be a competitive game or activity every day to test students’ personal development and enjoyment of the game, while teaching the importance of team play, sportsmanship and competitiveness.

Girls' Field Hockey

Athletes of all levels will enjoy the Newark Academy Field Hockey Camp. This comprehensive program includes game play, stick skills, game strategy and more. Players will receive individualized attention and will be grouped appropriately according to ability and experience. Goalkeepers will have their own programming and will join in for competitive games and drills.

Coached by the Newark Academy field hockey coaches, additional high school coaches, and past and present players, the NA Field Hockey Camp gives the athletes an opportunity to participate in a competitive atmosphere, to grow their love of the sport and to prepare for the fall.

Players will walk away feeling prepared, confident and excited going into the fall athletic season, whether they are new to the sport or advanced in their skills.

No matter your experience, Newark Academy Soccer Camp offers an opportunity for athletes of any age and skill level to develop in all aspects of the game in a fun and competitive playing environment! The Newark Academy coaching staff, along with past and present players, will lead the camp and ensure that your child leaves with a joy for soccer and an appreciation for teamwork.

Each day will include both a technical and tactical aspect, with an emphasis on ballwork and small-sided games. All players will be placed in groups based on their specific age and playing ability to ensure the best competition and training environment for everyone. Goalkeepers will have their own programming and will join in for competitive games and drills. There will also be daily camp challenges and spirit days for each camper to participate in.

Athletes will leave camp feeling prepared and ready for their upcoming season, whether they are a beginner or advanced player.

The Newark Academy Volleyball Camp provides every player with an opportunity to learn volleyball in a fun environment. The camp will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game, on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Campers will learn the hitting, serving, passing and blocking techniques needed to participate in this sport.

Newark Academy softball camp is designed to teach and inspire players of all ages and levels. The camp will cover hitting, fielding, base running, pitching, and more. Players are grouped by age and experience, and they will work individually and in small groups with our experienced and passionate coaches. In addition to becoming a better player, each camper will build self-confidence through success. Coached by the Newark Academy Athletics staff, the NA Girls’ Softball Camp allows athletes to participate in a competitive atmosphere while growing their love of the sport.
