MOTT-LEENEY BASEBALL CAMP

The Mott-Leeney Baseball Camp, celebrating its 50th year, is the flagship summer sports camp program at Newark Academy. Campers will hone their skills in pitching, catching infield play, outfield play, hitting and base running. All campers should have sneakers, baseball cleats and glove.

  • Ages: 5-13
  • Fee: $395
  • Session I: June 25- June 29, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Session II: July 2-July 6, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm (no camp on July 4. Fee for Session II is $350)
  • Session III: July 9-13, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Session IV: July 16-20, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Session V: July 23-27, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
 

Meet your Camp Staff

Camp Director Doug Wear oversees Mott Leeney’s talented and experienced high school and college coaches, as well as the local high school athletes that assist them. Doug is a 17-year veteran of Mott-Leeney and a hitting coach.  Coach Wear is also the head baseball coach at Hanover Park High School.
