NA-X Advanced Model UN Institute Grades 8-12

This one-week institute is designed to give students the experience of participating in the advanced committees featured at many premier Model UN conferences. These committees are typically very selective, featuring only the top students from each school, and it can be hard for students to gain experience outside of competitive conferences. After a brief introduction to key skills and ideas, we first run a two-day Security Council simulation, followed by a two-day crisis committee simulation. Students sharpen their research and debate skills and explore solutions to complex geopolitical problems in this exciting seminar.
