NA-X Summer Strong: Mind-Body Training for Athletics 9-12

This dynamic and engaging two-week course helps boost flexibility, build strength, and sharpen focus — all key elements for performing at peak level in any sport. During Week 1, students discover techniques to quiet their minds and improve focus, promoting self-discipline, relaxation, and anxiety reduction. During Week 2, students build upon mindfulness skills by studying and practicing traditional yoga techniques and poses, strengthening the body from the inside out. Through this practice, students learn how to stretch, strengthen, and stabilize their bodies, helping to prevent injuries and recover faster. No prior yoga or athletic experience is required.
