Academic & Enrichment Programs

At NA, summer is a meaningful and delightful extension of discovery, rather than a vacation from it. Courses and programs for students in grades 3-12 provide an unparalleled summer academic experience and the opportunity to develop vital skills, deepen understanding and critical thinking, and in some cases, earn advanced credit. You should enroll your child in courses based on the grade they will enter in September 2024.

Library - Newark Academy offers a Library supervision session for students in Grades 3-12 with gaps in their schedule. The Library session is offered in one hour blocks from 8:05- 3:00 pm. Students can choose this enrollment for Session A, Session B or both. Library tuition is $300/ hour for the 3 weeks of Session A or Session B.

One hour courses in English, Math, Reading and Science for Grades 3-8.

Computer Classes Grades 9-12
Two hour Computer Programming classes for students in grades 9-12.

SAT/ACT Prep Grades 10-12
A two-hour course designed to prepare students for the SAT and ACT exams for Grades 10-12.

Sports Classes Grades 3-8
One-hour classes that complement academic courses for Grades 3-8.

STEM Classes Grades 3-8
One-hour classes in STEM, robotics, engineering, coding, game design, and more for Grades 3-12.

Arts Classes Grades 3-8
One-hour classes that complement academic courses for Grades 3-8.

Math Classes Grades 6-12
Two-hour preview courses and four-hour advanced credit courses ranging from fundamentals of math to calculus for Grades 6-12.

Science Classes Grades 7-12
Two-hour preview courses and four-hour advanced credit courses ranging from foundations for success in science to physics for Grades 7-12.
