  • Upper School Academics

    • In 1991, NA was the first school in New Jersey authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Coursework prepares students for 23 different IB exams across all subject areas. NA students had a 100 percent diploma pass rate in 2021.
    • In May 2021:
      • 165 students completed a total of 533 IB examinations.
      • 155 students sat for a total of 199 Advanced Placement (AP) tests.
    • 55 members of the Class of 2022 are pursuing the full IB diploma.
    • Approximately 95 percent of the Class of 2022 is enrolled in at least one IB course.
    • Approximately 65 percent of students enroll in art classes beyond the 1-year graduation requirement.
