NA Arts Facilities

Elizabeth McGraw Arts Center

Newark Academy’s campus offers students with an interest in the arts every opportunity to pursue their passions. The Arts at NA are anchored in the spacious Elizabeth McGraw Arts Center wing of the school which includes a professional dance studio, three visual/digital arts studios and separate rehearsal halls for choral and instrumental music.

David Teiger ’47 Gallery for Studio Arts

The Center is also home to the David Teiger ’47 Gallery for Studio Arts which opened in 2018. This modern facility is home to exhibitions throughout the school year featuring NA student art work and that of highly-acclaimed artists from around the world. The Teiger Gallery provides exhibition space, museum quality lighting and the technological capabilities to exhibit digital as well as traditional visual arts.

Coraci Performance Hall

The performing arts have a new home at Newark Academy. Opening in July 2020, the Coraci Performance Hall is a state-of-the art, 700 seat facility, that serves as the heart of the NA campus. Originally home of Rose Auditorium, the facility has been completely rebuilt to accommodate the increased size of the NA student body for Morning Meetings and to provide a performance space equal in quality to the outstanding student artists that take the stage for dance, choral, orchestral, jazz, and theatrical performances throughout the school year.
