Summer

Academic and Enrichment Programs

At NA, summer is a meaningful and delightful extension of discovery, rather than a vacation from it. Courses and programs for students in grades 3-12 provide an unparalleled summer academic experience and the opportunity to develop vital skills, deepen understanding and critical thinking, and in some cases, earn advanced credit. Offerings include:
  • Academic, STEM, Arts, and Sports courses in grades 3-8
  • Science and math preview courses to help students get a head start on grades 6-12
  • Writing workshops and literature classes for grades 6-11
  • NA advance credit courses for grades 8-12
  • SAT and ACT exam preparation in grades 10-12
  • Specialty workshops including Model UN, Improv Workshop, Leadership in the 21stCentury, and Spanish Boot Camp for grades 6-10
  • NA-X Courses-  designed and taught by Newark Academy faculty
