Explore computer science and the art of computer programming by using the Arduino microcontroller. Students will learn about concepts  such as loops, variables, sensors, and conditionals through a series of instructor-led builds. Students will be guided through “missions” as part of the 30 Days Lost in Space Arduino challenge. This imaginative challenge prompts students to “fix their broken spaceship” through a series of Arduino builds. Each lesson builds upon the last as the wiring and code get more and more complex. The course finishes with the “successful landing of their spaceship” by correctly assembling and programming their Arduino circuit.
