A roundup of NA student musicians’ recent achievements.
Three Upper School violinists were accepted into the New Jersey Music Educators Association All-State Orchestra. Just to qualify for the All-State audition, all three players had to audition for, be accepted into, and perform with the North Jersey Regional Orchestra. Congratulations to:

And that’s not all …
Chameleon and the NA Big Band made it to the New Jersey Association for Jazz Education state finals again! Chameleon had a very strong performance, earning a high Gold rating, rhythm and saxophone section awards, and two soloist awards for seniors Kevin Jiang and George Austin. The NA Big Band slipped into the final spot with a high Bronze.
In addition, seven NA musicians auditioned for the Region I Jazz Band. All emerged with strong scores. Congratulations to the four students selected for the Junior High and High School bands:
