Newark Academy’s Model Congress Competes at PENN Model Congress

Newark Academy’s Model Congress delegation traveled to Philadelphia to compete in PENN Model Congress, a four-day governmental simulation during the final weekend of March. NA’s delegates enjoyed a great deal of comradery and brought back seven awards under the leadership of Ms. McNeilly-Anta ’94, Mr. Erlasndson, Ms. Pascal, and alumnus Christopher Davis ’12.
Kennedy McNeilly-Anta ’20 gaveled in Foreign Affairs and earned Outstanding Delegate in the Full House, while the following five NA students were awarded Honorable Mentions for their debating skills in their respective committees:

  • Riaan Dhankhar ’21, Veterans Affairs
