Good Teamwork Leads Minutemen to Victory

Newark Academy successfully defended their home court today against a very much improved Gill-St. Bernards squad, 4-1.  Vyom & Jasper started off the scoring with a convincing win; and they were followed quickly by Eddie & Val who did the same. It took some patience before NA's third point--and thus the match--was secured. But Captain Ethan & Aidan made it happen at the #2 spot. The Minutemen secured an extra team point after Captain Shivan & Nick fought back from down 0-4 to win in a tiebreaker. Shout-outs also go to Vincent & Ani and Simon & Jaon who were victorious and to Josh & Jean-Luc who fought gamely but were defeated in the #1 spot by their big and talented opponents. The Minutemen go on the road Thursday to play Delbarton at Villa Walsh Academy
