Newark Academy’s Nominations for Paper Mill Playhouse 24th Rising Star Awards

Newark Academy received two nominations for the Paper Mill Playhouse 24th Rising Star Awards, a prestigious competition for outstanding work in high school theatre in New Jersey. NA received a nomination for Orchestra, while Zach Kessel ’19 received one for outstanding performance by a leading actor in a musical.

 

The 2019 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards will take place at Paper Mill Playhouse on Tuesday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m., featuring presenters from Broadway and beyond. The ceremony will be broadcast live on television and online through Paper Mill Playhouse video partner, Hometown Television (HTTV), of Summit, New Jersey.
