NA Wins Final Road Match and Retains Mayor's Cup

Although the Honorable Alfred M. Anthony, Mayor of Livingston, could not be on hand to present it himself, the Mayor's Cup for Best Achievement as a Middle School Tennis Team from Livingston, New Jersey went to Newark Academy after their 5-0 victory over Heritage Middle School. NA won at all positions, but two matches deserve special shout outs. Congrats to Smiley & Ani who fought back after being way down in tough conditions to win 7-5. Congrats also to Lil' Kundra & Young Pearl who played well and looked good.

The Minutemen play their final match of the season at Home on Monday against a very talented squad from Dwight-Englewood. The match time has been pushed back to 4:30 to allow NA's rabid fans who also work for a living a chance to glimpse the action. NA hopes that Monday's match will put a cap on a very special season...
