Nail-biter in Somerset

In a nail-biter of a contest, the grapplers from two of the state’s oldest schools traded wins, leaving the team contest in the balance until the final match.  The Minutemen looked much improved and earned a number of excellent results.  Sixth grader Jean-Luc Marchand ‘24 earned his first career victory with a major decision and classmate Evan Wang ‘24 felt his hand raised for the first time in his short career after pinning his opponent. Adrien Chouraqui ’22 also earned himself a victory for the first time in his career, pinning his opponent in the first period.  Dominik Tasse ’22 added a major decision of his own and Dan Schwarz-Ruso ’23 moved to 2-0 on the season with his second pin in as many matches.
